I am a bigger fan of niche fragrances compared to designer fragrances. However, it does not mean that I do not have or enjoy designer fragrances either. If I had to choose one designer brand that really fits my style and my taste, that would be @dior. One of my signature scents and 'go-to' party perfumes are 'Hypnotic Poison EDT'. One of the first perfumes that I got from my husband like 12 years ago was 'J'adore'. I also used to love to wear the original 'Miss Dior' when I was 10 or more years younger. 🤣
Dior's 'Addict' came on my radar way later. I would not say it is my favorite scent in my collection or from Dior's line, however, it has some kind of addictive, intoxicating vibe. In the beginning, I found it a bit too sweet, too powdery, overwhelming. However, the more I tested it, the more it grew on me. I like how white florals, especially jasmine sambac flirts with bourbon vanilla. It is definitely a very sensual, feminine, sweet, sexy scent that I would not overdose on and use with caution. I would definitely use it more while going out and with a nice evening outfit. This scent is not my go-to scent, but it is just so fun to play around with and put yourself in a different 'amplua'/character than usual. That is the biggest fun while wearing perfumes, isn't it?
What is your favorite designer brand? Why? What perfume do you wear that really helps to ‘transform’ your personality?
