"Perfumes That Made My Summer Unforgettable"

Although the official summer is over, it's so nice to still enjoy these warm and sunny days we have here in the Netherlands! No one knows how long they'll last! 😄

With this post, I want to share my most-used fragrances from this summer:

English Pear & Freesia by Jo Malone: A very feminine, easy-to-wear, light, and clean fruity-floral fragrance. Interestingly, I find myself loving it more on others than on myself, but the more I wore it, the more I grew to enjoy it! It has a perfectly balanced blend of sweet and floral notes, and if I had to describe it in a few words, it would be "Youth in a bottle!"

Sea, Sud, and Sun by Versatile Paris: I've been raving about this perfume ever since I got it. It's fresh, ozonic, creamy, and slightly gourmand, with beautiful fig notes! Imagine if 'Philosykos' and 'Nice Bergamote' had a baby. The only downside is that since it's an oil-based perfume with a dab applicator, it can make my hair a bit oily (I like to apply perfume behind my ears). So, I prefer to use it on my wrists, elbows, or other body parts that don't come into contact with my hair. 😅

Garden Song by Racyne: This scent — and the brand — has been one of my best perfume discoveries this year. It's dewy, light, tender, and delicate, giving me a "zen" feeling that makes me think of romance! I imagine Lady Chatterley would have definitely worn this fragrance.

Fleur Osmanthus by Robert & Gillet: A very affordable, joyful, subtle, and sunny fragrance! I think there were days when I practically bathed in it! It has a surprisingly long-lasting scent that has become my sleep "buddy."

L’Imperatrice by Dolce & Gabbana: This scent might not be the absolute best, but every time I wear it, it puts a smile on my face! It carries a lot of nostalgic value and has garnered many compliments over the years. It gives off a fresh, fruity vibe — like a bowl of mixed fruits — but without being overpowering, instead feeling refreshing and energizing!

What was your favorite fragrance or smell this summer?
